This presentation will go over some basic concepts and terminology for individuals identifying outside the gender binary of "male/female," discuss changing social viewpoints, strategies for managing legal risk, and creating fair and respectful workplaces. The AAWL presents a virtual program on the value of diversity in the legal profession and the experience of African American woman lawyers in Alaska. Justice Dana Fabe and Judge Pamela Washington will co-moderate a panel discussion featuring African American female lawyers in Alaska with varied backgrounds and practice areas.
